How Is a Classic WoW Talent Build Calculated?

In Classic WoW (patch 1.12), every character earns 1 talent point per level starting at level 10. At the level cap of 60 you have exactly 51 talent points to distribute across three class-specific talent trees.

Core Formula
Available Points = max(0, Level − 9)
Max at Level 60 = 60 − 9 = 51 points
Points Remaining = Available − (Tree1 + Tree2 + Tree3)
Tier Unlocked = floor(Primary ÷ 5)  [new tier every 5 pts]
Efficiency = (Spent ÷ Available) × 100%
