📖 About This Calculator

Classic WoW Talent Calculator is a free, browser-based build planner designed for World of Warcraft Classic (Patch 1.12 — Vanilla). Whether you're theorycrафting your first character or min-maxing for raid performance, this tool lets you visually distribute talent points across all three talent trees for every class in the game.

Choose from all 9 classes — Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, and Druid — set your character level, and start spending points just like you would in-game. The calculator tracks your available points in real time, identifies your primary specialization, and provides an instant build analysis so you know exactly where your character stands before you ever log in.

No downloads. No account needed. Just pure Classic WoW planning.

🚀 How to Use

1 Step 1 — Select Your Class
2 Click on any of the 9 class buttons at the top of the calculator. The three talent trees for that class will load instantly below.
3 Step 2 — Set Your Character Level
4 Enter your character's level (1–60) in the level field. The calculator will automatically calculate how many talent points you have available. (Talent points begin at Level 10.)
5 Step 3 — Distribute Talent Points

7 Step 4 — Analyze Your Build
8 Click the "⚔️ Analyze Build" button to generate a full breakdown — points spent per tree, your primary specialization, build rating, and a detailed analysis of your current allocation.
9 Step 5 — Reset & Rebuild
10 Click "↺ Reset" at any time to clear all talent points and start fresh without changing your selected class.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

This calculator is based on World of Warcraft Classic Patch 1.12, also known as the Vanilla or "Drums of War" patch. It reflects the talent trees available during the original Classic WoW era, not Burning Crusade, Wrath, or any later expansion.
At Level 60, you have a maximum of 51 talent points. Talent points become available starting at Level 10, and you earn one point per level — giving you 51 points total by the time you reach the level cap.
After clicking "Analyze Build," a Build Summary string is generated at the bottom of the results section. You can copy this text and share it with friends or paste it into guild Discord servers to show your planned spec.
This version is designed as a planning tool and does not enforce row-based prerequisites (e.g., requiring X points in earlier tiers to unlock deeper talents). Always verify your final build in-game or on a more strict calculator before committing your points on a live character.
It depends on your role! For DPS, Fire Mage and Fury Warrior are top performers. For healing, Holy Priest and Restoration Druid are raid staples. For tanking, Protection Warrior is the gold standard. That said, almost every spec can clear content — use this calculator to find what fits your playstyle.
